La pasta is perhaps the first thing that pops to mind when you mention Italian food.

For most Italians there isn't a day that goes by without at least one helping of pasta or riso (rice).
La pasta is usually served as a first course -
un primo piatto.

There is an infinite number of variations! 
Here I'll share some of my favourites which I cook regularly a casa.
